Lloyd Bannings returns to his hometown in order to follow in his brother’s path and join his brother in the Crossbell Police Department. He is assigned to a ragtag new division called the Special Support Section, which is a solitary unit that assists those in need. Crossbell is the new exciting chapter of The Legend of Heroes! Crossbell was the setting of the ongoing territorial conflict with the Republic of Calvard and the Erebonian Emperor. Since then, it has developed to become a thriving city-state that is considered to be one of the important centers of economic activity in the world.
Lloyd Bannings, who spent three years in exile from Crossbell, is returning to his hometown to continue his brother’s legacy and become a part of the Crossbell Police Department. He arrives to find that his position has been transferred to Special Support Section. This is the division that takes care of little and odd-looking request. The new team he’s assigned to includes Elie MacDowell (granddaughter of the mayor); Randy Orlando (ex-soldier who’s asexual) along with Tio Plato (young tech genius).
While their CPD is often mocked by the media and belittled upon by other departments in the CPD, Lloyd and his team continue to strive to make their city a better place. They are slowly confronted with the pervasive corruption taking over their city. They’re unaware of just how deep the shadows are of Crossbell City reach…
